BECAUSE THE POINT HERE IS THAT NO ONE WAS FUCKING GRACIOUS ENOUGH TO THANK HIM FOR DOING THEM A SERVICE. LIKE SERIOUSLY IT’S TWO WORDS IT’S NOT THAT HARD OR DIFFICULT TO SAY THEM. IT DOESN’T MATTER THAT YOU COULD’VE DONE IT YOURSELF, HE WAS TRYING TO BE NICE TO YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE, AND WOW I SURE AS HELL WOULDN’T STAND THERE FOR HOURS AND HOLD THE DOOR FOR MY ENTIRE FUCKING UNGRATEFUL SCHOOL. I WOULD THANK HIM TWICE FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

That is exactly why many people aren’t polite, kind or gracious. It’s sad it’s become such a rarity for people to be nice. Honestly, if you’re too much of a dick to say thank you when someone does you a kindness then you’re a waste of skin. Stop taking up space on my planet.
