Just thought you guys would like to know Tumblr acts against hate speech & oppression :)

A few days ago there was a post circulating about a user called againstlgbt. Their blog actively promoted the oppression of LGBT/Queer people & called them sick & in need of treatment among other things. I saw the post & wanted to do more than just spread the word & reblog. I took a chance that Tumblr might actually care & e-mailed them about it. Within 12 hours the blog was terminated. The e-mail I got in response is below. I just wanted to give props to Tumblr for acting quickly to protecting the rights & freedoms of their members. Feeling comfortable being ourselves is a big part of what makes this place special. Well done, guys. <3
